Refurbishment
The practice has also undergone a refurbishment and we hope you will like the improvements you will see at your next visit. You can still be assured of the same friendly welcome from the team, but because we have recently introduced some new services, we wanted to mark the developments with an updated image. We have marked our upgrade with a smart new logo and patient brochure that provides lots of information about the practice team and the services and products now available.

State of the Art dentistry
As you are probably already aware, Rob Muirhead has invested in state-of–the art equipment called Cerec which means crowns and veneers are milled to precise measurements by a Cad Cam milling machine on site at the practice. The advantage of Cerec milled crowns and veneers is that patients can have crowns and veneers fitted in one appointment. The aesthetic result of the completed restoration is superb because of the high quality porcelain block used in the milling process. The precision milling of the finished crown or veneer ensures a perfect fit and completely avoids the dark margins and lines that some crown work can result in.
Rob is now an accredited trainer for Cerec and he trains dentists throughout the UK, and Europe on the technical aspects of using Cerec technology.
Cosmetic dentistry
All the dentists at the practice are committed to carrying out ethical and necessary dental treatment to maintain your oral health. Many of our patients also ask whether we can offer cosmetic dental treatment at the practice. The term cosmetic dentistry describes dental treatment that may not necessarily be clinically essential but it may be a desirable treatment for a patient who wants to look and feel their best. Patients opt for cosmetic dentistry to improve the appearance of their teeth and smile and often tell us that their levels of self confidence increase significantly as a result of cosmetic dental treatment. The dentists and dental hygienists at the practice now offer Zoom in surgery tooth whitening – the whitening treatment that restores your teeth to their ultimate natural whiteness. For a limited period we are offering Zoom whitening at just £395 – that’s a 25% reduction in our normal fee.
