At Muirhead Dental Practice in Bradford long gone are the days of waiting two weeks for a dental laboratory to make your crowns, taking two days off work for dental treatment and wearing temporary restorations that may fall off in between treatments. These state of the art CEREC restorations are made from high quality ceramic and are comparable in cost to standard laboratory made restorations.

We are leaders in CEREC dentistry, our principal dentist Dr Rob Muirhead was one of the first dentists in the UK to use CEREC technology in 1993 when the practice bought a CEREC 1 machine. Since then the system has evolved to the CEREC 3D. As pioneers in CEREC dentistry we can confidently design, fabricate and fit crowns, veneers, inlays and onlays to a high standard in a single appointment. Dr Muirhead has attended numerous national and international courses on CEREC over the years and is now a certified ISCD (International Society of Computerised Dentistry) CEREC trainer and teaches other dentists how to use this exciting cutting edge technology.

Due to many years of grinding, (I am now in my mid seventies) my front teeth had become so weakened that they were in danger of being ground out of existence. Rob suggested to me that he could perform Cerec restoration on them, which could be completed in a day. This I agreed to have done, I also had a bite problem rectified. In all, seven teeth had the treatment, which was quite pain free, having had two injections. I found the whole experience very interesting, especially watching Rob design each tooth on the computer. After seven hours the transformation was complete. I could not believe the difference; the wonders of modern technology - and Rob!
